At Waterpocket Distillery, they're modernizing long forgotten classic spirits. Their Minthe Botanical Spirit is an updated take on the classic 19th century dessert liqueur that originated in Milan, Italy. The star of Minthe is peppermint, the main ingredient. But a long list of botanicals including cardamom, myrrh, angelica seed, mugwort and fresh orange peel enhance the craft spirit's complexity. Resinous notes of mint and peppermint are surrounded by bright herbaceous notes and cardamom spice.
